SYNOPSIS
STATEMENT
CONTEMPORARY VISION
Zack is a diligent student from a small village who travels to the capital to conduct research for his master's degree. Due to his limited budget, he lodges in a youth hostel, where he meets Meera and her group of friends who have come to a bachelorette party. Running out of original ideas for the activity she's in charge of, Meera ends up seeing Zack as the highlight of the evening. Little by little, she and her gang encourage him to embrace his wildest desires in order to open himself to her sulphurous and mysterious proposal, which will definitely upset the solemnity of Zack's university stay...
The series portray the journey of a young man seeking personal emancipation, torn between the weight of his family's expectations for social success and his own pursuit of happiness. Instead of pitting familial success against individual success or imposing a choice between professional success and personal fulfillment, the series encourages breaking free from moral boundaries and dichotomous thinking to find a balance between work and pleasure.
The goal of this project is to present a new perspective on masculinity that breaks free from traditional stereotypes. It proposes a third way that goes beyond the ideal son-in-law or the bad boy stereotype. In addition, the project portrays adventurous and generous women who are not defined by abusive or sexist attitudes, but on the contrary reassuring and liberating.
AROUSING SPIRIT
The inclusion of an open-minded sexuality, out of usual, overcoming machist bounderies, will illustrate the importance of breaking away from conservative societal norms in order to embrace new researches for personal growth, fulfillment, and innovation.
